PLATTSMOUTH – A child, who was hit by a car in Plattsmouth Friday afternoon, was treated by medics and did not require hospitalization.

Plattsmouth rescue was dispatched at 2:45 p.m. to West 8^th Ave., near the Dairy Queen.

A seven-year-old child ran into the roadway where there is no crosswalk and was hit by a car driven by a 16-year-old.

No citations were issued.
