Taylor Gets 1 to 6 Years after Deputies Find 24 Grams of Meth In Auburn Basement
Co-defendant has court hearing Aug. 26
AUBURN – A man arrested after Nemaha County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at an L Street residence in Auburn has been sentenced to one to six years in prison for dealing methamphetamine.
Vincent Taylor, 53, was arrested with two others.
He was originally charged with possession with intent to deliver over 10 grams, but Taylor entered a no contest plea to a charge that did not contain an amount of meth in his possession.
Following the search of the Auburn house, deputies said up to 24 grams of meth was found. An arrest affidavit says the house is within 1,000 feet of Calvert Elementary School, Kids of the Kingdom daycare and Ariens Nature Explore Classroom.
Taylor was also sentenced to one to two year in prison for possession of methamphetamine on Sept. 25, 2018.
Deputies found methamphetamine in a car that Taylor was riding in.
Alecia Humphrey, 52, is scheduled for pre-trial conference Aug. 26 regarding the meth found in a bedroom she shared with Taylor.
