NEBRASKA CITY – Ricky Anthony, 54, of Omaha has entered pleas to motor vehicle homicide involving the traffic deaths of 32-year-old Rachel Curry and her 15-year-old stepdaughter Chloe Curry at Nebraska City on Oct. 21.

Anthony was subject of an active arrest warrant and prosecutors say he was driving on a revoked license when his car crossed the centerline on Highway 75 and hit a vehicle, where the Auburn woman and the Johnson County Central student were passengers.

Anthony was later arrested 57 miles away in Falls City, where he had borrowed the car he was driving.

Anthony’s driving record includes driving under the influence convictions in 1998, 2002 and 2015, reckless driving convictions in 2002 and 2003 and 11 driving under suspension cases dating back to 1988.

Sentencing is scheduled Oct.21.
