FALLS CITY – Leann Willits, 45, of Salem has been bound over to district court for trial on a possession charge in June.

A Richardson County sheriff’s deputy told the court he stopped Willits as the Dollar General parking lot in Falls City regarding active arrests warrants. The deputy said Willits alerted authorities to methamphetamine on her person.

Prosecutors sought an arrest warrant for Willits in July on allegations that she absconded from probation.

Arraignment set on Aug. 6.
