Sidney Iowa Championship Rodeo Starts After Queen Competition

The Sidney Iowa Championship Rodeo gets underway today.
The 96th showing features performances by the Two-County Dusters. Music concerts are scheduled Thursday through Saturday.
The Miss Sidney Rodeo competition is scheduled at 7 p.m. today prior to the first rodeo performance.
The rodeo parade around the Sidney square is scheduled at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Rodeo events include saddlebronc riding, steer wrestling, tie down roping, bareback riding and bull riding.
Kids ages 5 to 7 can sign-up for mutton bustin’ prior to each night’s rodeo.
