FALLS CITY - Alicia Milliken, 36, of Omaha was sentenced to 18 months probation for possession on Sept. 13.

Milliken was arrested after she parked her car outside of the sheriff’s office and went into the lobby.

A sheriff's deputy told the court he recognized the car from a separate traffic stop and conducted a free-air K9 sniff, which alerted deputies to controlled substances.

An arrest affidavit says Milliken told deputies she had been ripped off. Deputies told the court they found 10.4 grams of a substance, but it did not field test for meth. She was convicted of possession of concentrated THC from a search of the vehicle.

In a separate case in Richardson County, Ricky Sanchez, 49, of Topeka, Kan., was sentenced to 345 days in jail with credit for 86 days served for possession of methamphetamine on Aug. 18, 2022.

Court records say Sanchez failed to appear in June and July of 2023 after entering a plea in April. He was arrested after a Highway 75 traffic stop and an open-container search.
