Tractor fatality near Unadilla

UNADILLA - Otoe County Sheriff’s Office investigated a tractor fatality.

Sheriff deputies responded at 4:36 p.m. Friday to an accident near the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road I, involving a tractor.

A preliminary investigation shows the tractor was being driven southbound on County Road 20 when it left the road and rolled down an embankment, pinning the driver.

86-year-old Larry Halvorsen of rural Unadilla was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Otoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
