LINCOLN - John Pohlman, 38, of Falls City was sentenced April 18 in federal court in Lincoln for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and felon in possession of ammunition.

He was sentenced to 87 months in prison and five years supervised release.

A press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office says Richardson County sheriff’s deputies searched Pohlman’s Falls City residence in February and found meth, stolen electronics and a 9 mm handgun with seven rounds of ammunition.

Marijuana was found in a pickup found parked outside of the home.

Pohlman has previously been convicted in federal court for possession with intent to distribute meth.
