Nebraska City continues Arbor Day tradition
Arbor Day parade scheduled Saturday, April 27
NEBRASKA CITY - The Arbor Day tradition continues in Nebraska City with events April 20 to April 28.

Events begin on Saturday, April 20, with a foraging walk at Riverview Nature Park. Nebraska Statewide Arboretum horticulturist Bob Hendrickson will lead the walk with an emphasis on wild edibles.
The Great American city-wide clean up is scheduled on Wednesday, April 24, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Weekend activities begin Friday, April 26, with free admission to Arbor Lodge and childrens program at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The Wildwood Historic Center will host a Victorian paper doll exhibit.
Saturday events include an Arbor Day 5K, a 1 p.m. parade, live music at The Keeping Room and an Arbor Day BBQ at the Veterans Memorial Building. The Arbor Town Throw Down Paper Airplane Contest is scheduled at 7 p.m.
Sunday events include the Jaycees Fly-in Breakfast and Bloody Mary Championship.
