NEBRASKA CITY -- Emergency crews were called to Fourth Corso east of Steinhart Park Road at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday for an accident with injury.

The Nebraska City Airport reported fog and mist from 8 p.m. Tuesday through the night and into Wednesday morning. The temperature hovered above freezing since Monday morning, but motorists experienced some slick spots on streets.

There was airbag deployment in the Ford Escape that hit a pin oak at Steinhart Park. A juvenile male was taken to the hospital.

Most of southeast Nebraska was in a winter weather advisory this morning with freezing drizzle a hazard until 10 a.m.
