Falls City announces entrepreneurship ecosystem grant
Chamber will work to identify and empower rural talent
FALLS CITY - The Falls City Chamber & Main Street has announced participation in a rural entrepreneurial program.
A pilot program supported by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and Forward Cities is aimed at activating and empowering entrepreneurial talent in rural communities.
The Falls City Chamber will receive a $5,000 seed grant and $1,500 toward professional development. The chamber will help identify barriers to starting or growing businesses.
Over the next few weeks, the chamber will be working to collect feedback from local entrepreneurs and small business owners through an anonymous survey. The feedback collected in this survey will help inform the growth and expansion of support for local entrepreneurs in Falls City.
