Unadilla man accused of felony domestic assault

UNADILLA – An Otoe County man is charged with felony domestic assault after an afternoon incident on Christmas Eve that was partially witnessed by neighbors in Unadilla.

An arrest affidavit says Andrew Aldrich, 33, was driving a Chevrolet Suburban with his wife and children when the woman got out of the vehicle. Aldrich is accused of telling the woman he would run her over if she did not get back in. he is suspected of later grabbing her by the throat, attempting to put her in the vehicle, placing her in a headlock, dragging her from the back of the vehicle and pushing her down.

The affidavit says the Aldrich backed away when a neighbor intervened.
