NEBRASKA CITY - Nebraska Congressman Mike Flood appeared on Fox News Business regarding the southern border.

Flood said Nebraska farm families would be disgusted by what he heard from the border station chief in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Flood: "From Dec. 20 to Dec. 30, 8,000 to 10,000 migrants per day crossed the border. He said it resulted in taking all 180 border patrolmen on shift to the border patrol station and left the southern border – 250 miles in the Del Rio station – wide open for terrorists, for drug smugglers.”

He said the solution requires more than resources, but a commitment from President Joe Biden.

Rep. Flood said Nebraska law enforcement is reporting fentanyl overdoses and trafficked methamphetamine.

He said the crisis has turned every town in Nebraska into a border town.
