Multiple injuries at East Fourth Corso, Highway 2

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Fire and Rescue transported three people from a Dec. 28 accident scene at Highway 2 and East Fourth Corso.
An Otoe County Sheriff’s Office accident report says a Ford Fusion driven by Jean Lytle, 77, of Nebraska City was stopped at a stop sign on East Fourth Corso and progressed into the westbound lane of the highway.
The engine compartment area of the Fusion was hit by a westbound Nissan Rouge driven by Jorge Pinango, 24, of Lutz, Fla. The Nissan rolled multiple times.
Nebraska City Fire and Rescue transported Lytle, 66-year-old John Chandler of Omaha and 51-year-old Renan Deras to CHI Health St. Mary’s with possible and suspected minor injuries.

NEBRASKA CITY – Multiple ambulances were called for a two-vehicle collision at Highway 2 and Valmont Drive at Nebraska City Thursday afternoon.
Nebraska City Fire and Rescue was dispatched for a personal injury accident involving four patients at 1:36 p.m.
Westbound traffic on Highway 2 was temporarily directed into Nebraska City. East Fourth Corso traffic was open into Iowa.
