Nebraska football playoffs feature 17 undefeated teams
NEBRASKA CITY - The Nebraska high school football playoffs will feature 17 undefeated teams when action kicks off Friday.
In Class B, Plattsmouth will host Blair at 7 p.m. Undefeated going into the playoffs in Class B are Bennington and Waverly.
In C1, Auburn will host Ogallala at 6 p.m. Both teams are 7-2. The C1 bracket features two undefeated teams Wahoo and Boone Central.
In D1, Weeping Water will take a 6-2 record to undefeated Sandy Creek for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Also undefeated teams in D1 are Stanton, Ravenna, Crofton, Plainview and North Platte St. Patrick’s.
In D2, undefeated Johnson-Brock will host Anselmo-Merna at 3 p.m. Also undefeated in D2 are Dundy County Stratton and Wynot.
In D6, the undefeated Pawnee City Indians will host Sioux County at 5 p.m. Summer-Eddyville-Miller, Potter-Dix, and Arthur County are also undefeated.
Also undefeated are Omaha Westside in Class A, Norfolk Cathlolic and Fillmore Central in C2
