TECUMSEH - David Daniels Jr., 45, of Tecumseh was sentenced Tuesday to prison for 100 or more years for sexual assault of children.

District Judge Ricky Schreiner sentenced Daniels on two consecutive terms of 50 to 55 years and ordered  him to lifetime registration under the Nebraska Sex Offender Registration Act.

The judge said Daniels could be eligible for parole in 49 years.

Daniels entered pleas to sexual assault of a victim under age 14 in August of 2022 and to victim under the age of 12 in August of 2021.

Court records say Daniels was previously convicted of a sex offense in 1996. He was removed from the state’s sex offender registry in December of 2021.
