Investigators arrest van driver in connection to Omaha child's death
The Omaha Police Department said their Child Special Victims Unit is investigating the death of a one-year-old who was left in a van.

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Omaha Police Department said their Child Special Victims Unit is investigating the death of a one-year-old who was left in a van.
The child was left in a van in the 5000 block of Leavenworth St. Investigators said they arrested 62-year-old Ryan Williams, the van driver, for child abuse by neglect resulting in death.
OPD said officers responded to Kidz of the Future Childcare just after 3 p.m. on Monday for an unresponsive child who had been left in a van.
Omaha Fire Department medics transported the child to the Nebraska Medical Center where they were declared dead.
This is an ongoing investigation.
