OPD identifies Friday night homicide victim

OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities released the name of the Friday homicide victim in Omaha. 

The Omaha Police Department said that they identified the victim as 30-year-old Carlos Salguero-Canar.

Omaha Police are investigating Salguero-Canar's homicide that they reported happened Friday night around 11:40. 

Authorities said they were called for a party down with CPR in progress. Salguero-Canar was taken to a local hospital where he code 99, and was pronounced dead. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
