Hamburg couple suspected of conspiracy

SIDNEY, IA – Fremont County Sheriff Kevin Aistrope reports the arrest of a Hamburg couple in connection with a narcotics distribution investigation.

Joseph W.M. Haughton, 28, and Tressa D. Haughton, 39, are suspected of conspiracy to distribute more than five grams of methamphetamine.

Tressa Haughton is also suspected of distribution of methamphetamine.

Both were held Monday on $100,000 bonds.

A sheriff’s office press release says Joseph Haughton had been released May 12 on separate charges out of Page County.
