NEBRASKA CITY - The Richardson County Sheriff’s Office reports arrests through May 2, including a drug arrest.

Britanni Day-Rush, 32, of Omaha is suspected of possession of a controlled substance on April 28.

Kimberly Chandler, 52, of Falls City was arrested on Richardson County warrants for probation violations.

There were nine arrests for driving under suspension or revocation and one for failure to appear.

39-year-old Wendell Johnson of Arlington, Texas, was received into custody on a Richardson County court commitment.

 

Andrew Dean, 33, of Falls City is suspected of insurance fraud on April 27, 2022.

An arrest affidavit says the Nebraska Department of Insurance’s  Fraud Prevention Division investigated an auto policy in Falls City. Investigators say Dean falsely claimed his Jeep was damaged in an Interstate 29 accident.

 

Rigoberto Rosales, 25, of Harlingen, Texas, is charged with possession of of THC gummy bears and a concealed handgun after a Highway 75 traffic stop on April 11.

Emilio Brassell, 19, of Lincoln is charged with operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, obstructing a peace officer, willful reckless driving, speeding and felony possession on April 13.

A sheriff’s deputy reports a Highway 75 traffic stop near Dawson, where Brassell and two passengers were identified.

The deputy says Brassell was taken to the patrol car, but got out and ran back to his car when he was told the car would be searched.

A pursuit involving speeds up to 130 mph and highway passing against oncoming traffic. The vehicle was found, unoccupied in Auburn with two flat tires. A THC vape cartridge was found in the car, but Brassell was not located. An arrest warrant was issued April 24.
