Prison ordered for meth delivery in Richardson County

FALLS CITY – Joseph Roberts, 54, of Lincoln was sentenced to two to four years in prison for delivery of methamphetamine in July. 

Roberts was arrested after the Richardson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search of a 719 Road residence. Court records say three bags of meth were found each weighing 1.61 grams and two bags were found each weighing .6 grams. 

Roberts was also sentenced to an additional three to six months for assault while at the county jail. 

A sheriff’s deputy told the court that jail video shows Roberts and another inmate throwing punches after leaving a common area of the jail.
