Former Illinois Dept. of Corrections director taking over Nebraska position
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services has its new leader.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services has its new leader.
Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen announced Monday that Dr. Rob Jeffreys will assume the role, leaving his post as the director of the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Jeffreys takes over for Diane Sabatka Rine, who was appointed to the role in an interim capacity. She took over following the resignation of former NDCS director Scott Frakes.
Jeffreys will receive a $210,000 per year salary.
