OMAHA, Neb. -- On the day that one of the state's highest profile basketball recruits in history transferred to Creighton, another former five-star recruit announced he is also entering the transfer portal.

Multiple sources are reporting that former Millard North standout Hunter Sallis is leaving Gonzaga after two seasons.

Sallis played two seasons with the Bulldogs, averaging 16.7 minutes per game in his final year in Spokane. He scored 4.5 points per game this season, attempting just 3.2 field goals per game. He also served as one of the team's best perimeter defenders.

During his senior season at Millard North, Sallis averaged 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists while leading the Mustangs to their first Class A title. He was a McDonald's All-American and was tabbed a five-star recruit.

Nebraska and Creighton are believed to be interested in Sallis, as are a number of other big-time programs who recruited Sallis out of high school.

Earlier Friday, former Grand Island standout Isaac Traudt announced he was transferring from Virginia to Creighton.
