NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City Pioneers put the chill on Auburn Monday at Clemmy Holmes Field where there were overcast skies and a wind chill of 39 degrees.

Nebraska City had 10 hits in the game, including two each from pitcher Cael Kreifel, Keston Holman, Colton Snyder and Jackson Kreifel.

Auburn pitching had three strike outs in six innings while Nebraska City jumped to a 9-0 advantage.

Auburn had six hits, with RBIs in the seventh inning from freshman Jackson Warner and senior Travon Shaw.
