County approves keno funds for sports complex

GREAT Foundation plans to start with two soccer fields

NEBRASKA CITY - The Otoe County Board approved keno funds for the GREAT Foundation at its Dec. 20 meeting.

The $28,500 funding is expected to assist with final engineering of the first phase of the Nebraska City Sports Complex.

Community organizer Doug Friedli, Parks Commissioner Pat Wehling and soccer leader Steve Baltensperger were present. GREAT plans to begin with two soccer fields at the complex.
