City considers building grant, beer garden, rescue pay
Veterans Memorial Building applies for $425,000 grant
NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City City City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. today.
The agenda includes a public hearing on using $425,000 in block grant funds to rehabilitate the Veterans Memorial Building.
Little Ted’s Beer Garden is requesting use of Central Avenue from Third to Fifth streets from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 18.
A paramedic leave request, Nebraska Vegetable & Protein loan arrangement, new rate schedule for the rescue squad and American Recovery Plan Act funds will also be discussed.
