21 grams of meth found in traffic stop

NEBRASKA CITY – Otoe County sheriff’s deputies say they found about 21 grams of methamphetamine on a driver after a traffic stop on July 12.

Seth Barton, 44, is charged with possession and careless driving.

An arrest affidavit says a deputy sheriff saw Barton’s pickup leave Highway 67 and go into a ditch near Road K. Barton backed up to return to the road and continued west before parking illegally on K Road.

The deputy says a methamphetamine smoking pipe was in clear view.
