Johnson church plans patriotic service

JOHNSON - Korean War veteran Richard Christen will be featured by video at the 2022 Patriotic Worship Service at Martin Luther Lutheran Church south of Johnson on Highway 105.

The service is scheduled at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 22.

The families of Adolph Oestmann and Roy Oestmann, brothers who served in the Korean War, will receive flags folded by the military honor guard.

The families of deceased veterans of the past year have been contacted and those attending will be asked to stand and be recognized.

A lunch follows the service.
