GREENWOOD, Neb. -- With severe weather in the forecast, former President Donald Trump will not be in Nebraska Friday night after all.

Trump's team announced shortly after 3:00 p.m. CT that Trump would not be in attendance. At approximately the same time, his press staff sent out a letter from the former president stating that he would be rescheduling until Sunday.

"So the great thing about this is the rain, as long as we don't have the storm," gubernatorial candidate Charles Herbster said. Herbster stated that he and Trump made the decision jointly.

There is no official word on whether all of the scheduled speakers would also be in attendance Sunday.
