Senior, Daniel Bashtovoi was recognized as a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholarship program
SIDNEY, NE -- Senior, Daniel Bashtovoi was recognized as a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholarship program.
There are over 5,000 candidates selected from 3.6 million seniors around the country.
The U.S. President Scholarship Program is one of the highest honors for graduating seniors.
Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievement, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities.
Bashtovoi participates in Varsity cross country and track, National Honor Society, Science Club, Class officer, Student Council, Mock trial, and BEST Robotics.
Bashtovoi plans to attend the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and major in Biological Systems Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical Engineering.
