State patrol finds thousands of fentanyl pills

LINCOLN - The Nebraska State Patrol reports finding thousands of suspected fentanyl pills and other illegal drugs during a traffic stop in Dawson County on Monday.

A state trooper searched an eastbound Acura TSX after detecting the odor of marijuana and found the pills, two pounds of cocaine and six grams of marijuana.

Alejandro Lopez Leon, 24, and passenger Orlando Castro Gutierrez, 28, both of Los Angeles are suspected of possession with intent to deliver.
