Four arrested in string of Metro robberies

Two men and two women are in jail today all accused of a recent rash of ten Omaha robberies.

And police tell us the long list of Family Dollar Stores, Quik Trips, other gas stations and smoke shops may not be complete.

The youngest of the four is 19, the oldest 21.

Among the charges are 32 counts of robbery and 22 weapons violations.

The robberies began a week ago and hit all parts of Omaha, from south 13th street, west to 108th and “L.”

Police tell us the investigation is ongoing as they work with other neighboring departments regarding possible robberies outside of Omaha.
