Students showcase projects at the Lourdes Student Academic Fair
Students, parents and faculty made their way around the old gymnasium at Lourdes Central Catholic, observing work from students from multiple grade levels Thursday.
NEBRASKA CITY - Lourdes Central Catholic invited parents to the school Thursday to observe research projects made by third through eighth grade students at the Student Academic Fair.
Each grade level was assigned an area of research to pursue, and the students were allowed to choose a topic that fit within the criteria and specific theme the instructors chose.
The projects ranged from presidential reports to science and history.
The projects were presented on large display boards, where students put pictures as well as explanations about what the project entailed and why the topic was chosen.
The science projects included a hypothesis, the methods used to test the hypothesis and a conclusion containing the final results.
