Nebraska City orders masks at Hayward Elementary

NEBRASKA CITY -  Nebraska City Public School is instituting a mask requirement for some buildings due to illness rates.

School: “Hayward Elementary continues to have increasing illness rates over the last several days. Hayward Elementary has exceeded the 11 percent illness rate to implement the district approved illness protocol.”

The school will require Hayward students and staff to wear masks and practice other methods to reduce the spread of illness beginning Thursday, Jan. 20.
