Brown elected Sidney mayor
Mayors elected in Farragut, Imogene, Randolph, Riverton
SIDNEY – Kenneth Brown received 33 percent of the vote Nov. 2 for mayor of Sidney to win with a total of 53.
Write-ins received 66 percent of the vote. Six write-ins received 105 votes.
Brown previously served on the city council after filling a vacancy in 2019.
For city council, voters favored Don Benedict, Anne Travis and and Fabian Bell. Drew LeMaster was elected to fill a vacancy at-large.
Thomas Shull was elected mayor of Farragut with 35 votes.
For Hamburg City Council, voters favored Troy Henrickson, 76; and Melissa Smith, 57.
William Morrison was elected mayor of Imogene with five votes.
Gary Farwell was elected mayor of Randolph with 14 votes.
Ruth Connell prevailed over Robbie Kromminga with 66 percent of the vote for Riverton mayor.
