Firefighters respond to overnight fire in Brock

BROCK -- Johnson, Brock and Julian Fire departments were dispatched at 1:32 a.m. today for a structure fire in Brock.

Responding units were informed that one person was out of the house at 601 Lafayette St., but another occupant was still inside.

About 12 minutes after the initial call, Brock firefighters on the scene canceled other responding units. They reported that a dryer had been on fire, but the situation was under control.
