Fatal truck vs. motorcycle accident in Omaha
Police responded to a two-vehicle accident early Monday morning in Omaha.
OMAHA, Neb. -- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident early Monday morning.
Omaha Police Department says they responded to a motorcycle vs. truck crash on NW Radial and Nicholas.
Authorities say the Harley Davidson, driven by 34-year-old Pedro Flores, was southbound on NW Radial while the Toyota Tundra, driven by 60-year-old Mark Simmons, was eastbound on Nicholas.
Police say Simmons was stopped at the stop sign, then proceeded into the intersection hitting Flores.
Officials say Flores was pronounced dead at the scene by OFD Medics. Flores was wearing a DOT approved helmet.
Authorities say that Simmons was uninjured.
This crash is under investigation.
