Tornado watch issued until 10 p.m.

A tornado watch has been issued until 10 p.m. Thursday.

The watch area includes Fremont County in Iowa and the following Nebraska counties: Otoe, Nemaha, Johnson, Pawnee and Richardson.

The watch is based on a forecast form the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Okla.

While dangerous weather may not be imminent, residents are encouraged to be on the alert.
