Plattsmouth woman ordered to pay restitution
PLATTSMOUTH – Sabrina Schober, 21, of Plattsmouth was sentenced to 60 months probation for attempted theft in December of 2019 and ordered to pay over $13,000 in restitution.
Schober was dog sitting at Buccanneer Bay while a married couple was away. She was arrested shortly after the homeowners returned to find the house ransacked.
A passport from the house turned up in Omaha, which led investigators to Schober.

Items stolen included a marriage certificate, World War II good conduct medal, Social Security cards, Air Force retirement certificate, 3-foot tall statue of a female warrior from the Battle of Stalingrad, Soviet coins, Macedonian coins and Confederate Army bills from the 1800s.
Schober’s boyfriend, 25-year-old Andrew Lebeau, was arrested Feb. 19 in connection with the case. He is scheduled for a jury trial on March 22.
