Fire spreads to Talmage trailer house

TALMAGE – There were no injuries in a fire Thursday evening that spread through a trailer house on Market Street.

 

 

Ten Talmage and seven Dunbar firefighters responded and were able to knock down the flames on the trailer. A man and his adult son had been living in the house.  Both men were alerted to the fire and called the fire department.  The elder homeowner was taken to be with family in Rockport following the fire.

The cause of the fire is undetermined. The fire department suspects that burning material blew beneath the porch and started the fire. Fire spread from there to beneath the trailer and burned through the floor in some locations.
