Prison ordered for theft of tower copper

Joseph Gillott, 36, of Plattsmouth was sentenced to three to four years in prison for burglary on July 28.

Gillott, who was serving a probation sentence while completing drug court, was arrested for breaking into the Future Technologies communication tower on 96^th Street in Cass County. Investigators say copper was stolen from the facility.

Gillott is also ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution.
