Museum Admission Program on agenda

City will meet Jan. 4 at Rowe Safety Complex

NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City City Council is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4.

The agenda includes a review of the Nebraska City Development Program and a $20,000 grant to the Nebraska City Museum Association for the residents’ admission program.

Commissioners will consider purchase of property at 1419 N. 19th St. and consider the donation of a strip of property by the Grand Hotel Company for use as a sports complex.

The city will also consider sale of land on vacated portions of 12th Street between 12 and 13th avenues to Nebrara Investments.

Commissioners are asked to approve an application for a $77,000 grant from FEMA for wastewater treatment plant flood resiliency.

A change order is proposed for the city’s purchase and resale house at 1117 Third Ave.

The Nebraska City Board of Health is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. on Jan. 4 at the Rose Safety Complex.
