Man suspected of stolen vehicle, rifle
Gothenburg man says he was taking his girlfriend to Auburn

PLATTSMOUTH, Neb. - Cass County Sheriff William Brueggemann reports the recovery of a vehicle reported stolen out of Gothenburg.
A press release says a deputy ran the plates on the vehicle near Louisville and conducted a traffic stop west of Louisville.
Erik Brian of Gothenburg is suspected of receiving a stolen auto and possession of a stolen rifle, as well as driving under suspension. A female in the vehicle was released with a citation on drug charges.
The Sheriff's press release says Brian told investigators a friend had loaned him the vehicle earlier that day and he was on his way to Auburn with his girlfriend, who he had just picked up in Bellevue.
