Deputies search Pawnee City residence

PAWNEE CITY – A Pawnee City man is charged with possession of methamphetamine and over an ounce of marijuana following an October search of his 12^th Street residence.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived to executive a search warrant and met with 42-year-old Matthew Arnold. An arrest affidavit says Arnold led deputies to his bedroom, where he showed them a drawer and containers with meth, marijuana, pills and various paraphernalia.

Arnold was released on a $1,500 bond provision and is scheduled for a court hearing Dec. 17.
