NEBRASKA CITY – A social media post on Monday was enough to organize a spontaneous Trump Parade in downtown Nebraska City.

Bob Briley of Nebraska City said he heard about it on a Facebook post by his sister. He was among the first to arrive at the staging area at Steinhart Park with his square-body Chevrolet pickup, flag and Trump decals.

Briley: “You’ve got to get out and show your Trump spirit. We just want to show our pride.”

Briley said President Trump has done a lot for the United States and said he could do a lot more, if not so severely targeted by Democrats.

There were at least 10 vehicles that drove east on Central Avenue at 5:30 p.m.

Harold Christiansen Jr. was first in the lineup.
