Hiawatha plans 106th Halloween Frolic

Business trick-or-treating postponed to 2021

HIAWATHA - The 106th Halloween Frolic is scheduled at Hiawatha, Kan., on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31.

Eight girls are competing for the Hiawatha Halloween Queen. The queen contest is scheduled 6:30 Saturday on the steps of the Brown County Courthouse. Attendance is limited.

Saturday activities include children’s costume contest, business costume contest and evening grand parade at 7 p.m.

The afternoon parade, business trick-or-treating, frolics around the square have been postponed until 2021.
