Patty Coates Is This Month's Bee's Best

NEBRASKA-This Month's Bee's Best is Patty Coates of Nebraska City.  Patty was nominated for her work with Keep Nebraska City Beautiful.

Patty says her love for Nebraska City is what drives her commitment to make the town a better place. Patty also states that with so many great people in Nebraska City that do so much, she is simply blessed to be nominated for Bee's Best.

"Well I guess first and foremost I love Nebraska City. I was born very close to Nebraska City, and came to school here in the sixth grade.  I've been around here for forty years, well probably longer than that, but I love the community, it's a good place to be."

"I do not know how this happened.  I think I've asked you guys several times, how did this happen? What's this about? I don't even know, but you know there's so many great people in Nebraska City that do so many outstanding things.  There really are, there's lots of people who give their time and efforts.  Put forth just everything they have into the community, so I'm not sure how this happened.  I'm grateful, and thankful, and I feel blessed".
