NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City conducted a narcotics investigation Tuesday morning that resulted in three arrests on methamphetamine charges.

The Otoe County Detention Center reports the arrest of 51-year-old Michelle Carlson and 58-year-old Patrick Lane for suspicion of possession with intent to distribute on Aug. 10.

Police Cpt. Lonnie Neeman said police obtained a search warrant for the residence on the 1800 block of Seventh Avenue.

Neeman said he expects distribution charges to be filed due to the amount of methamphetamine and other drug related items found in the house.

A third resident of the house, 23-year-old Christopher Carlson, was arrested for suspicion of possession of meth.

Neeman said a fourth person was detained, but did not live at the residence and was released.

Christopher Carlson was earlier sentenced to two days in jail after an Otoe County escape charge was reduced to failure to appear.
