KNCB Sets Great American Cleanup July 15
Social distancing planned for volunteers at Sunken Parking Lot
By News Channel NebraskaNEBRASKA CITY – Keep Nebraska City Beautiful is seeking volunteers for the Great American Cleanup in Nebraska City from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on July 15.
Volunteers will be picking up garbage in downtown bump-outs, 11th Street and city parks.
Garbage bags will be distributed at the Sunken Parking Lot at 712 Central Ave., but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves.
American Recycling and Sanitation is donating a dumpster in the Sunken Park Lot for all trash to be put into from Monday, July 13, to Friday, July 17.
Director Sally DuBois said she hopes for 100 volunteers practicing social distancing.
