Probation Ordered After Deadly Crash

AUBURN – Rachelle Ellston, 31, of Humboldt was sentenced to a year of probation after a Highway 75 accident in 2019.

Prosecutors say she was a driver in Highway 75 collision that killed 57-year-old George Winchester on March 21.

The accident occurred while Interstate 29 was closed due to flooding and there was unusually high traffic on Highway 75. Prosecutors say Ellston’s vehicle crossed the centerline.
